My name is Damian Bradley. I started Sports Marketing in '95, completing a Sports Marketing and Management course. My interest was sparked by my passion for sport. I followed up this qualification with an Institute of Marketing Management course graduating in 1999. In 2000 I travelled to the UK, to see a bit of the world and gain some international experience in the Sports Marketing field.

In 2001 I returned to South Africa to take up a position in Sports Marketing for Energade in KZN. I was responsible for the regional Marketing and controlled the regional spend on Sponsorships, Promotions, Advertising and PR. This gave me excellent practical experience and the brand grew strongly as a result of its NPD and successful ownership of key SA sporting events.

My work on the 94.7 Cycle Challenge, Pick n Pay Cape Argus Cycle Race, 5fm Energade Triathlon Series and the Comrades Marathon, gave me the experience to leave my role on Energade and create "B-Active Sports Marketing & Event Management". I am currently an avid triathlete having represented South Africa and competed in a few Ironman races.

In 2007 I was joined by my Race Manager, Gavin Mcleod, who studied Marketing at UKZN and has a keen interest and knowledge in the Sports Marketing field. Gavin is often seen blazing around the trails at Giba Gorge and always has time for a friendly chat.

Over the past years, we have taken on some exciting new and old projects and made then into exciting and major league Events in South Africa. Currently we own and run the Suncoast Winter Multisport Series, Belgotex Carpets Cycle Classic, Durban Ultra Triathlon, Blue Chip Team Time Trial, Gateway Cycle Challenge and the new Muddy Buddy Series. Further to this we work on the Comrades Marathon, Amashova National Classic, Energade Triathlon Series and even do closed events for various Companies.

Because our work is fused with our main passion, we can't help but really enjoy what we do and we both believe this will show our attention to detail in planning for each event.
